Closing as duplicate — this requirement is tracked in the Advanced Material Management (AMM) specification under Open Points (lot origin visibility on device-created lots). Will be addressed as part of the AMM device communication scope.
This idea is under evaluation for the next generation material management module (Advanced Material Management). The requirement for lot origin visibility from device-created lots has been added to the AMM open points for consideration in the new architecture.
Agreed. This used to be visible in IT 1000. This can be extremely important when trying to determine which device is teaching bad lots to the system!
