Agreed that the duplicate User ID check should be the moment the User ID field is typed (or a long pause, maybe 3-5 seconds). It is frustrating to fill out detailed information, only to discover they already exist at the very end.
And also consider a similar adjustment when adding a new user. When you add a new user you only get informed that this user is allready present when you have filled in all fields. Is it possible to search on an newly entered user-ID if this is allready present (actie or inactive) directly after input of the userID?
